Mr. Nick Manesh, Ph.D., P.E., J.D. is our Chief Engineer and Executive Vice President. He is a major shareholder of our corporation. He is primarily responsible for all investment and project decisions. He also engages with great interest in innovative engineering design and solutions. He takes keen interest in creating and maintaining excellent relationships with:

•  investors;

• venture partners;

• bankers;

• brokers;

• and clients.

Mr. Manesh has over 30 years of experience in various fields of engineering. He has more than 20 years experience in corporate top management. His experience includes but is not limited to conducting various engineering research projects and feasibility studies, undertaking thousands of structural inspections of commercial and residential properties, designing innovative engineering solutions and materials, constructing commercial and residential buildings, repairing and installing foundations and drainage systems in commercial and residential applications, serving as a forensic expert witness, arbitrating and mediating disputes, and writing book chapters and articles. He also served as the founding Chairman of the Engineering Department and Acting Chairman of the Mathematics Department at Paul Quinn College in Dallas. He further taught at Southern Methodist University and at the University of Texas at Arlington as Visiting Professor. He is the past Chairman of the Continuing Education program of the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Southern Methodist University. Mr. Manesh is a member of the National Republican Congressional Committee Business Advisory Council. Mr. Manesh holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Engineering Science (Geotechnical Engineering) from the University of Oklahoma. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. He also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Newport University. He is a certified Arbitrator and Mediator.

Mr. Giant A. Aryani is our Director of Administration and Research. In this executive position he functions as our business manager overseeing the areas of:

•  Investment Research;

•  Economic Research;

•  Financial and Cost-Benefit Analyses;

•  Procurement;

•  Contracts and Records;

•  and Human Resources.

Mr. Aryani has 18 years of combined experience in private business, in the banking industry, and in academia. He has a long history with us having completed his first internship with A & L in 1989. He is also an accomplished author who published numerous professional and academic articles as well as one book. He has taught economics and statistics classes at the University of Texas at Dallas as well as presented sessions at both the community continuing education level and at professional and academic conferences. He has graduate degrees in Applied Economics, in Administrative Sciences, and in Political Economy and Public Policy.

Mr. Aryani volunteers his time in various capacities in his community. For example, from late 2001 to early 2003 he volunteered as Coordinator for Homeland Security Training on the Advisory Committee of Continuing Education, chaired by Dr. Nick Manesh, of the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Southern Methodist University.  He serves on the Board of Directors of Rockwall County Crime Stoppers, Inc. and is the immediate past Chairman of the Board. He is also the immediate past Vice Chairman, Administration of the City of Rockwall Police Department’s Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association.

Mr. Armin Miraftabi is our Director of Marketing and Sales, Western Region. In this capacity he undertakes our marketing and sales efforts on the West Coast, in Nevada, and in Arizona. His tasks incorporate:

·         Real Estate Sales,

·         Project Marketing,

·         Client Procurement,

·         and Client Care.

Mr. Miraftabi holds an engineering degree in Computer Science as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He has over 10 years experience in the real estate field.

Mr. Robert Graham, M.B.A. is our Senior Construction Superintendent. In this position he serves as our construction manager overseeing the construction process and progress of a project at its work site. His responsibilities include:

hiring subcontractors;

advising subcontractors;

directing and coordinating their activities and timelines;

ensuring that project deadlines are met;

making sure work sites meet applicable ordinances;

consulting with prospective bidders, suppliers, and subcontractors;

ensuring that all applicable site and building permits are obtained.

Mr. Graham has a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He has more than 30 years experience in the construction and real estate fields. His experience ranges from general contracting to construction management and to construction of structures for government entities, commercial projects, and residential clients and properties. He also served as a government contracting officer and personnel manager.  He is a member of the National Home Builders Association and the National Contract Management Association.

Mr. Nathan P. Klemm is our Senior Architectural Designer. In this position he undertakes the design and drafting of our various projects. He is responsible for the architectural quality control of our projects. His responsibilities include communicating, preparing and submitting documents, plans, and drafts to the cities and counties where our projects are located for permit and inspection purposes.

 Mr. Klemm has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Architecture. He has over five years experience in architectural design and drafting.

Ms. Fatemeh Nastaran Hassanipour, M.S., P.E. is a mechanical engineer. She undertakes the design and drafting of HVAC and plumbing systems for both residential and commercial applications. Her responsibilities further include drafting construction blueprints and specifications, plan review, review of shop drawings, quality control, and coordinating services and supervising field work of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors. She also carries out civil engineering designs and drafting as well as environmental engineering tasks such as computerized energy management control systems, hydrology duct and piping system designs, and environmental designs for minimum cost and maximum efficiency.

Ms. Hassanipour has a Master’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering at Southern Methodist University. She has more than 8 years experience in the design, drafting, inspection, and construction of structures and of engineering systems. She is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.

Ms. Nia Nikmanesh is our Geotechnical Scientist. In this capacity she undertakes our geotechnical investigations and design. She is responsible for our soil testing laboratory. Her responsibilities encompass environmental investigations including the preparation of Phase I and Phase II environmental reports. She further assists with administrative tasks of our business operations.

 Ms. Nikmanesh has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. She has more than 3 years experience with A & L having previously served as a management intern with us.
