Today's civil engineering projects are often highly complex and must meet increasingly rigid governmental, environmental, and building code requirements. Virtually every structure regardless of size requires some type of geotechnical engineering service to evaluate subsurface conditions that are unique to that particular project site.
The
Geotechnical Engineer determines the characteristics and condition of the
subsurface soils, utilizing field exploration and soil borings which provide
samples for laboratory testing and analysis, he then interprets the
laboratory analysis and data to recommend soil parameters which are used for
design and construction purposes. We have a fully equipped soil and
geotechnical laboratory staffed by trained and experienced technicians and
engineers enabling us to both quickly and efficiently analyze geotechnical
field samples to determine their properties. Our laboratory facilities
enable us to perform all testing required under controlled conditions to
evaluate standardized and specified tests of soil samples, as well as tests
of any new materials. Our Geotechnical Engineers carefully review and
interpret this laboratory test data to formulate their design and
construction recommendations. We have excellent expertise in following:
Soil
Exploration and Sampling
Soil Testing and Evaluation
Soil Investigations: Foundation and Pavement Design, Retaining Walls, Earth Excavations, Tunnels and other Subsurface Structures
Slope Stability Studies
Feasibility Evaluations
Consultations: Field Instrumentation for Monitoring Field Performance
Consultations: Soil Improvement
